Who we are

Lodacks, based in Takoradi, Western Region, Ghana, is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: info@lodacks.com.

What we collect

• When you order: the recipient phone number, your email address, the bundle or service, and payment details from our payment provider (reference, amount, channel; never your full card number).
• If you create an account: your name, phone number, email, a securely hashed password, saved numbers, your wallet history and support conversations.
• For AFA registration: the beneficiary's name, phone number and region. For Result Checker: the phone and email we send the PIN to.
• Technical: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

• To deliver your order, send receipts and updates, and resolve problems.
• To prevent fraud and duplicate orders, and keep accurate financial records.
• To send news and offers by SMS, to our customers and to numbers we're given. To stop them, email info@lodacks.com.

Who we share it with

Only what each one needs to do its job:

• Payment providers (such as Paystack or Theteller) to take your payment.
• Data suppliers receive the recipient number and bundle so they can deliver it.
• Our SMS and email providers to send you messages.
• An AI provider, only if you use our assistant: your messages are sent to it to produce an answer.
• Encrypted backups are kept with a cloud storage provider.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

We don't sell your information.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to provide the service, and for financial records as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your account; we keep only what we must for legal and accounting reasons.

Security

Payments are verified directly with the payment provider, passwords are hashed, sensitive data such as Result Checker PINs is encrypted, and staff access is limited by role and recorded.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or object to its use for marketing. Email info@lodacks.com.
